The good life – Travel to Thailand

Let me start off by saying, Thailand is one of my favorite countries to travel to for a vacation. It’s like a tradition for me now to start off the year by visiting Thailand. It’s not just one particular aspect that attracts me there, the country is packed with fun, culture, food, outdoor activities, everything that would you look for when heading off for a fun filled trip.

Making travel easier they have Visa on arrival which saves you the hassle of prior application for a visa and going through the lengthy process of getting a visa. Before heading there, do check the weather conditions as there are times where certain parts are hit by thunderstorms. Pack according to the number of days you would be travelling for. Shopping there is really cheap, so make sure you pack light so you can stuff all the awesome Thai goodies back. Bikinis, sarongs, shorts, evening dress, some t-shirts, shorts and a pair of active footwear will do the trick (don’t forget your sunscreen). You will end up buying a lot of things from there, so this packing suffices your needs.

Food is ample out there so you don’t have to worry at all, there are all types or cuisines available, be for a vegan, vegetarian or a non-vegetarian, also if you crave for junk food 7/11 is found at every corner so that satisfaction is fulfilled as well. When it comes to food, I would suggest try all the Thai cuisine, it’s super healthy!!! Coconut smoothies and the soups are my favorite, if you’re brave enough try the insects you get at the night markets, well I did!!! Some Scorpions, grasshoppers, crickets and worms.

Take a private boat and cover all the private beaches, it’s worth it!!! Roam around the streets, shop around, do visit the clubs, the nightlife is super fun!! You will meet people from diverse cultures and and up making good friends. Also, the weather in Thailand is a little dodgy, hence carry your basic medicines along for cough, cold, fever, you will get pharmacies there, but better to have your own. Visit the elephant sanctuaries and be amazed by the wilderness. I can go on but think you should explore it for yourself.
